Bamboo flute is a Japanese traditional woodwind instrument that is called Shakuhachi in Japanese.
You may have heard tones of Shakuhachi when you listened to the Eastern image music.
In order to play Shakuhachi, you should touch four finger holes (five finger holes for professional mode). Auto-breath mode, without blowing into the microphone, is also installed.
Three prerecorded tunes can be played to follow the guide as tutorial. In addition, three other tunes can be recorded.
There are three modes of playing iShakuhachi.
-Simple mode
To make playing on iPhone easier, holding finger holes in accordance with each musical scale is arranged. One full octave musical scale can be played.
-Advance mode, Professional mode
Professional mode is designed based on a real Shakuhachi performance which comply with real finger hole holding and reproduction of Kanon(the upper sound) and Otsuon (the lower sound).
*need to be very skillful.

Sound Quality
This app is useful for learning to position your fingers but I was let down by the sound quality produced. There is no built in reverb or other effects and expression cannot be added by your breath.
Poor sound quality. ;(
